My first new restaurant of my #50by50 challenge was a breakfast spot in Southlake called Eggsiquisite. I met my bestie there for a late breakfast. We actually ate there way back in late March, I just forgot to write about it. I didn't think to take pics, but I promise, it did really happen. I do remember that I got the Bacado omelet - bacon, spinach, tomatoes, and baby Swiss cheese, topped with sliced avocado. Yes, it was as delicious as it sounds. All those flavors coming together! Yum! What a great way to start the day and my challenge of 50 new experiences by the time I celebrate 50 next March.
One day I was talking with a colleague about who knows what, and of course, cupcakes entered the conversation. (That's actually pretty normal in my office.) My response (couldn't tell you what the comment was) - "It is all about the cupcakes!" And so I had a great title for my blog. Will this blog have anything to do with cupcakes? Who knows? But, I think it will be slightly entertaining and hopefully, sometimes as sweet as a cupcake. Happy reading!!!
